Ajay Lavakare is the Chairman and
co-founder of RMSI.
Ajay is responsible for the overall
success of RMSI, strategy development
and investor relations. In addition
to his role of Chairman of RMSI, he
is part of the senior management team
at Risk Management Solutions Inc.
USA, as Senior Vice President and
Managing Director of a strategic business
unit called Data Solutions.
Prior to co-founding RMSI, Ajay worked
for two years as a software engineer
with Kumagai Gumi Co. Ltd., Tokyo,
Japan, in the company's Information
Systems division and in its Overseas
Construction Contract Management division.
He also worked with Risk Management
Solutions, California, USA, a world
leader in the provision of services
for quantifying and managing catastrophe
risks.
Ajay has a B.Tech degree from IIT-Delhi
and a Masters in Structural Engineering
from Stanford University.
Ajay can speak Japanese and his other
interests include traveling, tennis,
Indian & Western classical music,
and jazz.
