Software Engineer (.Net and ESRI)

Job Description

Software developer having exposure in requirement analysis, design, unit testing and deployment of GIS projects.

Candidate Profile

• Candidates applying for this role should have UK work eligibility with valid work authorization in UK - Valid HSMP (Tier 1) Visa along with Security Clearance or must have worked for 3 years in order to be eligible for Security Clearance.
• Good Communication and client facing skills.
• Experience of working in dual shore mode with exposure to offshore development.

Qualification, Experience and Skill set required

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech.
• 3-5 years of Technical expertise in ASP.Net / C# / Web Services / SQL Server.
• In-depth knowledge of GIS products (COTS/Open source) especially in ArcGIS 9.3/10 Server and Desktop 9.3/10 on SQL Server database.
• In-depth knowledge of C# and ASP.Net Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5.
• Knowledge of Microsoft development environment and technologies.
• Hands on exp on SQL server 2005 onwards.
• Understanding of Pure MVC multi-core framework. (AS3), nUnit, nHibernate, nServiceBus, Castle Windsor, WCF and REST web services.
• Agile experience (SCRUM, CI) would be an added advantage.
• It would be beneficial for you to have practical knowledge of OOD.
• Good communication and logical thinking ability.
• Ability to think innovatively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Problem solving ability.
• Ability to perform in a multi-tasking, team-oriented environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
