CMMI Level 5

The Software division of RMSI has been successfully assessed at SEI CMMi Level 5. The assessment was carried out by SEI authorized lead assessor Mr. Mukul Madan of QAI India and the scope of the assessment (using SCAMPISM, Class A methodology) included all software development, testing and maintenance services. The focus of the assessment included 22 Key Process Areas from maturity level 2 through 5 of the Software CMMi (v1.1).

Commenting on this achievement, Rajesh Kalra, Managing Director, RMSI said, “Moving up from CMM Level 3 to CMMi Level 5 testifies our commitment to delivering the highest levels of quality in all our projects. The assessment demonstrates our capability to match client expectations by managing and controlling all software development risks related to projects, organization, processes and technology.”

Software Engineering Institute’s Capability Maturity Model for Software (SW-CMMi®) is a model for increasing the maturity of the software processes of an organization through the implementation of defined key practices. The Software CMMi has become a de facto standard for assessing and improving software processes.
