RMSI has a focused multi disciplinary group comprising civil engineers people from earth sciences (meteorologists, seismologists, hydrologists), statisticians, and economists who have knowledge and experience in developing quantitative models for evaluating risks stemming from natural and man-made hazards and in using geospatial, remote sensing and IT solutions for disaster and risk management.
