RMSI's software development processes and quality procedures are based on the SEI Software Capability Maturity Model (CMM). This ensures that we deliver defect-free, reliable software to our clients, with strict adherence to budgets and timelines.

RMSI's processes and quality models are flexible and can be tailored to meet the clients' project-specific requirements, thereby maximizing the value delivered.

RMSI's software division follows two models for software development: the development model and the application model

Development Model:
Depending on the client's needs, RMSI employs either the iterative waterfall or the rapid application development model is used. These cover the following steps:

	High and low level design

Application Maintenance Model:
RMSI has developed an application maintenance model, which follows a phased and systematic approach in transitioning application maintenance from a client's internal staff or vendor to RMSI. The approach is as follows:
	Planning
	Knowledge transfer
	Transfer of application maintenance
	Production support/code enhancement and repair
	Performance monitoring
