The client is Australia’s national broadband network operator, building a national wholesale open-access data network to provide high-speed internet access to homes and businesses. Upgrading Australia’s broadband infrastructure largely focuses on bridging the digital divide, transitioning the premises from FTTN to FTTP, and integrating fibre into the local fibre network. Given the high volume, experience, and expertise required for the design component of the program, RMSI supported the service partners through the delivery of performance-optimized, cost-effective, and timely designs. The initiative utilized a cloud-based, real-time application to streamline collaboration between the designers and field crew, ensuring efficient and accurate network designs.
