Our client designs and operates a 100% fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network, delivering industry-leading symmetrical gigabit broadband internet to both residential and commercial users. In addition to broadband services, the company plans to offer advanced point-to-point telecommunications solutions, including dark fiber, ethernet, and high-capacity special access, to clients across diverse industries. This project aims to expand Florida’s fiber optic broadband infrastructure, bridging digital gaps and supporting the growing demand for high-speed, reliable internet, particularly for remote work, streaming, gaming, and emerging technologies such as AI.
The expansion in this project targets underserved regions of Florida, aiming to bridge the digital divide by introducing high-speed fiber broadband. Timely delivery of permit drawings and permits is crucial to enable the client to achieve its connection targets while optimizing the costs of optimization. Obtaining the required permits for drawing and approvals from respective authorities was identified as a challenge. The significant scale of this initiative is driving a notable increase in workforce demand and specialized skills within the industry, prompting reliance on expert telecommunications design and engineering services to meet ambitious project goals and deadlines.
